Full moon on the water
Lights and lighthouses glimmer and flash
distant and close
across the bay
through our warm night space
The pacific swells roll like lovers
up the beach
then ripple back
spent, like lovers
feathered, they head back to the sea
Some of us know next to nothing
Just the drama and the news
Some know enough to know
they know nothing
They love their open minds
Some suppose they know it all
They have all the answers
and fear the unknown
